This is the lowest price yet on the flagship device and the Galaxy S9+ is available at discounted price during Amazon Great Indian Festival sale. The Galaxy S9+ was launched at a starting price of Rs 61,900 for the base model with 64GB storage. The 128GB and 256GB storage variants of the smartphone were priced at Rs 65,900 and Rs 69,900 respectively. During Amazon Great Indian Festival, the smartphone is available at a discounted price of Rs 45,000 and customers can save additional Rs 10,000 on exchange. There is also option to avail 10 percent cashback up to Rs 6,990 on ICICI and Citibank Cards during the sale. The Galaxy S9+ is also available with no cost EMI options for up to 9 months during Amazon Great Indian Festival being held from October 24 to October 28. The discounts are being introduced in conjunction with best buy prices offered by Samsung on its own online store.
Samsung Galaxy S9+ Specifications and Features
The Galaxy S9+ features a 6.2-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with dual curved edges and resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. Powering the device is Samsung‘s own Exynos 9810 SoC, which is an octa-core CPU fabricated using the 10nm process. In terms of storage, it comes with 6GB RAM and option for up to 256GB internal storage.
On the camera front, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S9+ with dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with the primary 12-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization acting as wide-angle lens while the secondary 12-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization acts as telephoto lens. There is an 8-megapixel selfie camera at the front and the smartphone also supports facial recognition via iris scanner.
The Galaxy S9+ comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is placed below the vertically stacked dual rear camera setup and it supports Samsung DeX for productivity on the go. It runs Android Oreo and is backed by a 3,500mAh battery with support for wireless charging, fast wired charging and IP68 water and dust resistance.
