To mark the beginning of the festive season, Samsung has announced new color variants for two of its flagship smartphones. The Galaxy S9+ will now be offered in Burgundy Red color, in addition to Blue and Sunrise Gold color options. Similarly, the Galaxy Note 9 will now be offered in Lavender Purple along with Ocean Blue, Midnight Black and Artisan Copper color options.
“Festive season is the time when our consumers look forward to upgrading to newer smartphones and technologies. This is best time to own our latest powerful flagship smartphones that are now available in exciting new colors and come with compelling offers, adding to the festive cheer,” said Aditya Babbar, General Manager, Mobile Business, Samsung India.

Samsung is also offering some interesting discounts and cashback offers to make the smartphones more tempting. To begin with, customers buying the Galaxy S9+ or Galaxy Note 9 using HDFC bank credit or debit card, or via Paytm Mall will be eligible for Rs 6,000 cashback. Secondly, users upgrading from an older Galaxy smartphone to the Galaxy Note 9 will be able to get additional Rs 6,000 as exchange bonus.
Galaxy Note 9 buyers will also be able to get the Galaxy Watch for just Rs 9,999, which otherwise costs Rs 24,990. The Galaxy Note 9 is available for Rs 67,900 for the 128GB storage model, and Rs 84,900 for the 512GB model. So, with the Rs 6,000 cashback, the effective price comes down to Rs 61,900 for the base model, and Rs 79,900 for the top end model.
Similarly, the Galaxy S9+ is available for Rs 64,900 (64GB), Rs 68,900 (128GB) and Rs 72,900 (256GB), but with the cashback offer, the smartphone will be priced at Rs 58,900 (64GB), Rs 62,900 (128GB) and Rs 66,900 (256) models, respectively.
