Earlier this month, Samsung took the wraps off two new Android tablets – Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A 10.5. Of the two, the Galaxy Tab A has today made its debut in India. The Galaxy Tab A is priced at Rs 29,990, and buyers will be able to choose from Ebony Black, and Urban Blue colors. The tablet will be available starting August 13 on Samsung s India e-store, and offline stores as well. Samsung Galaxy Tab A specifications, features
The tablet flaunts a 10.5-inch TFT LCD display with 1920×1200 pixels resolution, and 16:10 aspect ratio. It also boasts 73 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is also 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 400GB using a microSD card.
For photography, the Galaxy Tab A features an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The tablet is backed by a massive 7,300mAh battery that can be charged via the USB Type-C port.

On the software front, the Galaxy Tab A runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The Samsung tablet also features a ‘Kids Mode’, which gives parents control their kid’s usage time and ensure content, from native applications and brands, is age appropriate and educational.
