Samsung has launched a new J series tablet, the Galaxy Tab J, in Taiwan. Key features of the tablet include SIM card slot, 4G support and S Bike safety mode. The Galaxy Tab J is the first tablet from Samsung that comes with the S Bike, which was launched with the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) smartphone earlier this year. Samsung Galaxy Tab J specifications
The tablet features a 7-inch WXGA (1280×800) display with 216ppi. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab J features
The tablet sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with a 4,000mAh battery which the company claims is good enough to last for a day.
The Galaxy Tab J comes with connectivity options such as dual-SIM (4G+2G), A-GPS, Wi-FI 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and FM Radio. The Galaxy Tab J will come with Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box wrapped under Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.
The tablet comes pre-loaded the S Bike mode, which allows users to notify the callers that they are riding a bike and cannot take calls. The S bike mode also includes motion lock, which prevents the rider from taking the call when the bike is in motion.
The Galaxy Tab J will be available in Taiwan from the first week of August 2016. The tablet will be available in gold and white color options.

The tablet will be available at a price tag of at 5990 TWD, which is approximately Rs 12,500. If launched in India, the tablet will face tough competition in the likes of HP Slate 7 Voice Tab, IBall Slide 3G Q27 and Dell Venue 7 budget voice-calling tablets tablets.
