Just ahead of Samsung’s June 12 “Tab into color” event, new leaked photos of the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 reveal features that will debut with the new tablets. According to photos obtained by SamMobile, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 will be one of the slimmest tablets in the world measuring at just 6.6mm though it will weigh 465 grams. It will also sport the perforated back panel like the Samsung Galaxy S5 and will also have the fingerprint sensor that was first introduced in the flagship smartphone. On the software side, the photos reveal that users who also have a Galaxy smartphone will be able to sync the two devices together and will be able to take incoming calls on the phone itself. According to the photo, an overlay of the phone will appear on top of whatever the user is doing on the tablet whenever there is an incoming call. This is quite similar though not as subtle as Apple’s Continuity feature introduced in iOS 8. Also Read - Samsung Galaxy M32 launch in India next week: Top specs, price around Rs 15,000, more
The Galaxy Tab S will also get a Remote PC feature that will enable users to access their desktops remotely. This feature was also seen on the Galaxy Note Pro tablet.
On the specifications front, both Galaxy Tab S tablets will sport 2560 1600 resolution OLED displays, an octa-core Exynos 5420 processor with Mali-T628 graphics, 3GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear and 2.1-megapixel front-facing cameras, 32GB of internal storage along with a microSD slot, and will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Samsung’s magazine UI on top. The report indicates that the tablets would go on sale by the end of June itself.
