Samsung just launched the Samsung Galaxy Wide 3 smartphone. It is the successor to the Galaxy Wide 2 and comes from a partnership between the company and the South Korean operator SK Telecom. The phone was spotted by Android Authority, and from the looks of it features a basic design. It does not have a tall screen or a notch at top. Instead it settles for a 5.5-inch HD display. The phone features the standard Samsung design with the three physical buttons at the front. It will be available in two color variants, black and silver. Samsung Galaxy Wide 3 specifications and features
Samsung hasn t disclosed the name of the chipset running on the Galaxy Wide 3, but we know that it is an octa-core processor and features clock speeds of 1.6GHz. Alongside that, the phone sports 2GB of RAM and packs 32GB of internal storage. The phone has an option to expand the storage up to 400GB via a microSD card. As mentioned, the phone also features a 5.5-inch HD (1920 x 720) display with the standard 16:9 aspect ratio.
For photography, the phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera, which has an aperture of f/1.7. It can shoot full HD videos and comes equipped with an LED flash. The front camera is also 13-megapixel, but comes with an aperture of f/1.9. Samsung claims to have made some changes to the software in order to enhance the output in various lighting situations. Besides that, the camera also supports Face recognition feature.

The phone carries dual-SIM slots with 4G LTE support. Other connectivity options include, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS/GLONASS. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-box with Samsung Experience layered on top. Fueling the phone is a 3,300mAh battery, which charges through a micro-USB port.
