After officially announcing two entry-level phones called the Galaxy Star and the Galaxy Pocket Neo yesterday, it seems Samsung is now readying a new mid-range phone for launch sometime this year. The folks at Vietnamese website Mainguyen say that this new phone is called the Samsung Galaxy Win and have also posted an image and specs for the device.

Not a lot is known in terms of specifications, but the Dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy Win seems to be sporting a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with WVGA resolution and is powered by 1.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon processor. It also includes features like a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2,000mAh battery and is likely to run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. It is not known if or when Samsung will release this phone in India, but if it does, it will help the South Korean compete in the highly competitive mid-range smartphone market in India.
