After a global launch at IFA 2017, Samsung launched the Gear Sport and Gear Fit2 Pro wearables in India last month. The Gear Sport is priced at Rs 22,990, while the Gear Fit2 Pro will set you back by Rs 13,590. Now, Samsung has announced that the Gear Fit2 Pro will go on sale via Flipkart on December 11. The pre-booking for the wearable had already begun on December 4. In terms of specifications, the Gear Fit2 Pro comes with a new buckle clasp, which was missing from the original Gear Fit2. The Gear Fit2 comes with improved 50 meters (5ATM) water resistance capabilities. It also comes with a slightly larger Super AMOLED curved display of 1.5-inch, with a resolution of 216 432 pixels, and pixel density of 310ppi.
It is powered by a dual-core chipset clocked at 1GHz, paired with 512MB of RAM. Also on offer is a 4GB of internal storage. Armed with a 200mAh battery, connectivity options on the Gear Fit2 Pro includes Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi and GPS. On the software front, the fitness band runs on Tizen OS. In terms of sensors, the Gear Fit2 Pro features a heart rate sensor, gyroscope and barometer.
