Samsung first released Good Lock application as a way to access frequently updated array of customization features for their Galaxy devices in 2016. The feature was compatible with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and now, the company has released Good Lock 2018 that brings personalization features to Galaxy devices running Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Good Lock 2018 application is available in India from today and it gives Oreo users freedom to personalize their Galaxy device’s appearance and interface experience. The first feature is called Lockstar which changes how you see your locked phone and allows users to style their lock screen with a wide range of designs. Within Lockstar, Samsung Galaxy users will be able to select their preferred background and clock face as well as which items appear visible on the screen.
The app also gives the flexibility to choose the gesture which prompts the phone to unlock and place shortcuts to apps. Another feature being added to Good Lock 2018 is Quickstar, which acts as a console to modify the Quick Panel. Users can adjust the hue which mark On or Off for each setting with the coloring tab. There is also a simple indicator tab that gives users more control over the icons displayed in your status bar.
The app also has an updated task changer that allows users to scroll through recent apps by swiping left and right rather than up and down. There is also a choice of scroll effects and the opportunity to turn on Mini Mode, which shrinks the apps in the bottom of the screen to support one-handed use. Samsung is also introducing Routines which can be used to combine processes and functions to create new features.

Other enhancements include a new way to read time with ClockFace, an app that allows Galaxy users to choose from numerous clock designs for your always on display and lock screen. On smartphones like the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, Galaxy Note 8, it will also allow you to customize Edge lighting effects and establish Edge Zones which do not recognize screen touch to prevent accidental actions.
