With the Independence Day just a day away, e-commerce companies and smartphone makers have been offering good discounts on a range of products. Samsung recently opened the world’s largest mobile factory in India, and as a part of the Make for World celebrations, the company is offering some cashback and upgrade offers on smartphones. The last day to avail these discounts on Samsung e-store is August 15. Here’s a look at the offers.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9
Last week, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone at an event in New York, and the India launch is due soon. The company has already started taking pre-orders for the same, and if you plan to buy one, there are some offers you can avail. The 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 67,900, whereas the 8GB RAM with 512GB storage variant is priced at Rs 84,900.
On pre-booking the smartphone, you can buy the Gear Sport smartwatch for just Rs 4,999, which is otherwise priced at Rs 22,990. Samsung is also offering up to Rs 6,000 additional exchange bonus, when you switch from a Samsung flagship to the Galaxy Note 9. Otherwise, if you have an HDFC bank credit card, you can get Rs 6,000 cash back on upgrade.

Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+
The Galaxy S9 is priced at Rs 57,900 for 64GB variant, Rs 61,900 for the 128GB variant, and Rs 65,900 for the 256GB variant. The Galaxy S9+, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 64,900 for the 64GB variant, and Rs 68,900 for the 128GB variant. Samsung is offering an upfront discount of Rs 5,000 on 64GB variant, and Rs 6,000 discount on other variants. And if you own an HDFC bank credit card, you get Rs 6,000 cashback, which makes a total discount of up to Rs 12,000.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Last year’s flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8, is now available for Rs 55,900. Samsung isn’t offering any flat discount, but it is offering extra Rs 4,000 off on exchange, and additional Rs 4,000 cashback on HDFC bank credit card.
Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+
The Galaxy S8 is priced at Rs 45,990, whereas the Galaxy S8+ is priced at Rs 51,990. When buying from the Samsung e-store, you get flat Rs 4,000 off on checkout, and if you own an HDFC bank credit card or debit card, you get additional Rs 4,000 cashback, which makes it a total of Rs 8,000 cashback. That’s not all, you also get one-year free Netflix subscription with these phones, which is interesting.
Samsung Galaxy J6, Galaxy J8
The Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8 were recently launched in India, and they bring features like Infinity Display, Dolby Atmos, and more, to the mid-range smartphones. The Galaxy J6 is priced at Rs 14,990, and if you have an ICICI bank credit card, you can get Rs 1,500 as cashback, which brings down the cost to Rs 13,490. Similarly, the Galaxy J8 is priced at Rs 18,990, and if have an ICIC Bank credit card, you can get cashback of Rs 2,000, so it will effectively cost Rs 16,990.
