Samsung, recently launched its new A series of smartphones, which like the Galaxy Alpha boast metallic materials and is light on the pockets as well. Now, SamMobile is reporting that Samsung is working on yet another smartphone series and just like the A series, these new smartphones too will have single letter nomenclature.
The new direction Samsung seems to be taking in terms of naming its smartphones will surely help users keep a track of its rapidly growing portfolio of products. It will also mean that Samsung is moving away from not-so-classy series names like the Core, Mega, Ace and Young among others.
This is all the information available at the moment, so it’s not clear what they’ll have to offer in terms of specs or design. But we suspect that we won’t have to wait long till we come across more info.
Meanwhile, Samsung is also said to be working on next year’s flagship Galaxy S6. The smartphone is codenamed Project Zero, and it is said that Samsung is working on the flagship from the scratch. From what we have heard so far, the Galaxy S6 is shaping up to be a beast of a smartphone. According to rumors, it will feature a QHD display, Snapdragon 810/64-bit Exynos 7420 processors, 3GB of RAM, 16/20-megapixel primary camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and other features like retina scanner, and fingerprint scanner.
