With the launch of smartphones like Razer Phone, Xiaomi Black Shark and, Asus ROG Phone, it looks manufactures are slowly changing their focus towards offering a good gaming experience. There might only be a few players in the segment at the moment, but a recent report suggests that Samsung might soon be joining the bandwagon as well.

Based on a tweet from a famous tipster MMDDJ, Samsung is currently working on a new gaming smartphone. While the tweet doesn’t come with any solid proof, we can say that MMDDJ has had a good track record with previous rumors. However, there is no other information revealed on the device’s possible specifications and features.

It is worth noting that Samsung already has the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, which are regarded to be one of the most of high-end smartphones, even in terms of gaming. So, it will be intriguing to see how Samsung plans to top its flagship smartphones in order to deliver a good gaming experience. While there is no insight given on the specifications, we can be rest assured of it to carry a top-end processor and a high amount of RAM, preferably 8GB.

Alongside this, Samsung has already been touted to launch two premium smartphones next year in the form of the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy X.  Both smartphones are expected to carry some radical features, with the Galaxy X being the company’s first foldable smartphone. While the smartphone is suggested to launch at CES 2019, another tweet from MMDDJ states that Samsung will not be calling it Galaxy X. Like the previous tweet, there is not other information given here either. However, we can expect to get more details in the coming few months.
