The report claims that the new display panels will feature IPS technology, and will go under production in the coming months. If this is true, Apple will have enough supply in time for its first batch of iPad Air 2, which it is reportedly going to launch next month. The rumored iPad Air 2 is said to feature a slightly thinner body, a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, 2GB of RAM, and a faster A8 processor. The iPad Pro, on the other hand is slated to sport a 12.9-inch display, an advanced A8X processor, high-resolution display. Several reports claim that iPad Pro won’t be out until next year.
