Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S3 had received FCC certification just yesterday which confirmed that a possible launch was near. We could finally be witnessing the launch of the Galaxy Tab S3, thanks to an invite shared by Samsung. Posted on their social media handle, Samsung’s invite is for their press conference at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2017 event in Barcelona. The South Korean giant has teased a tablet as the device to be unveiled, with all eyes pointing to the Galaxy Tab S3.
Samsung’s press conference will be a pre-MWC event as it will take place on February 26, and is scheduled to begin at 7.00PM CET (11.30PM IST). The invite more or less confirms that we would be finally seeing the Galaxy Tab S3 in action. The very recent FCC certification for the Galaxy Tab S3 revealed that there would be a model with both Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity as well. A representational sketch was also shown depicting the Galaxy Tab S3 with a single rear-facing camera lens on the top and the Samsung logo placed below it.
Recent leaked photos have also shown the Galaxy Tab S3 housing a home button on the front which is said to double up as a fingerprint scanner. While all the rumors and leaks point out to the Galaxy Tab S3 being a minor upgrade to the Galaxy tab S2, we’re yet to see if Samsung brings something exciting to the plate.
