Samsung is gearing up for massive CES product launch cycle. But it will most probably not showcase much regarding its mobile portfolio. In anticipation of the event, Samsung is teasing a CES video that shows of its new Smart Hub UI for Smart TVs and also a new version of its social messaging application ChatOn 2.0 which will also work with the Smart TVs.

Samsung is going big with ChatOn 2.0 and it claims it now works across 200 countries in 60 languages and it is a micro social networking platform. It also plays well with other social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Weibo in China, but still there is no love for Google+. The company has also added its much marketed ‘multi-screen’ feature and it will work across five connected devices on a single account. Samsung has also refined its Smart Hub TV user interface. Now users will be able to watch live broadcast, watch movies via apps and look at photographs. It will have more apps, a video on demand service and a flipping feature that will allows users to flip through five screens like a book using the televisions motion controls.
