As CES 2014 nears, Samsung has teased a new Exynos processor which it will unveil at the annual exposition, which is taking place between January 7 to January 10 in Las Vegas. Samsung s tweet from its Exynos Twitter account talks about unlocking the new Exynos, which does hint that a new processor is in line but does not give much information about it. However, keeping the earlier rumors in mind, it is likely to be the “true” octa-core processor, where both the “big” and “LITTLE” cores work together. Another possibility could be a 64-bit processor, which Samsung has been rumored to be working on after Apple launched its A7 64-bit processor that powers the iPhone 5S and the iPad Air.

Samsung isn’t the only company that is expected to showcase its latest chipset at CES. All eyes will also be set on what Intel and Qualcomm have to showcase. LG too is expected to announce its own octa-core chipset codenamed Odin.
