We’re just hours away from the big Apple event, and the entire tech industry is fixated in anticipation. To cash in on the buzz, Samsung has introduced a rather intelligent piece of advertisement on the Google Search page. If you search for iPhone 6s, the top search result is a Galaxy S6 Edge+ advertisement.
This is a neat marketing gimmick by Samsung. The ad shows up for keywords like iPhone 6s and even iPhone 6s Plus. The ad starts with the question ‘6s?’, and then provides a link to the newly released Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge +.
The new iPhones are expected to give heavy competition to the Samsung’s new flagship releases. Samsung even hurried the release of the Galaxy Note 5 to fend off the Apple competition.
Today, Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus along with the new rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro and the new updated iPad mini 4. It is also expected to unveil more details about the commercial roll out of the iOS 9, OS X El Capitan and WatchOS 2.0.
As far as rumors go, the iPhone 6s is expected to come with Force Touch display and a faster processor paired with an amped up 2GB RAM. It is said to feature a 12-megapixel rear camera with 4k video capabilities, and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The event is less than two hours away, so stay tuned for live updates.
