Solis in Spanish means sun, which clearly indicates the next generation Samsung smartwatch will also sport a circular display, reports Sammobile. The codename seems to follow up the previous generations Orbis, which means orbit. The next generation Samsung smartwatch is likely to retain the widely appreciated rotating bezel, but perhaps with more functionalities. According to the publication, the Solis will bear model numbers SM-R760, SM-R765, SM-R770, SM-R765V, and SM-R765S with the last two ones being the carrier variants. Like the previous Gear smartwatches, this too will run on Tizen OS. Right now there are no other hardware details about the Solis.
