Samsung’s unannounced Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070 has apparently surfaced in Philippines and the folks at the Hardware Zone have done a small hand-on with this smartphone. The Galaxy S Advance will feature a curved 4.0-inch Super AMOLED WVGA (800×480) display, a 5.0 MP camera with LED flash, 720p HD video recording, a 3.5 mm audio jack and will be based on a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz. Initially, it will run on Android Gingerbread 2.3.6 but an Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade is expected later. It is expected to be launched for PhP 22,900 in Philippines, which translates to approximately Rs 26,500. Samsung will continue milking its Galaxy franchise of Android smartphones this year as well as it has done in 2011. Expect the Galaxy S Advance to be officially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) happening in Barcelona next month.
