Smartron on Thursday launched its first wearable device called the tband. The company claims it to be one of the first fitness bands that can monitor BP (Blood Pressure) and ECG (Electrocardiography). It’s priced at Rs. 4,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart on 13 May. The Smartron tband features a sleek design that comes with a 0.96-inch PMOLED display. The application carries a Health Index score, which is a combination of activity tracking, calorie count, sleep patterns, stress and fatigue levels as well as Blood Pressure and Heart Health.
