According to Mashable, Snapchat will be calling its version of Boomerang, Bounce and is currently testing the feature in a beta version of the app. Bounce will let users create a looping video which will play itself back-and-forth continuously. While there already is a similar feature like that on Snapchat, its known to not function as well as Boomerang. Bounce will help bridge that gap. However, Snapchat still hasn’t confirmed when it will be rolling out the feature. Also Read - Accidently broke Snapchat streak with friends? Here's how to restore it
Bounce will available alongside other video tools on Snapchat. Users will be able to access it with the help of a slider, which will help them to select the portion of the video that needs to be looped. Once that s done, the video will play back and forth.
Bounce isn t the only feature Snapchat is copying from Facebook. Recently the photo-messaging app also launched a SnapKit developer platform, which carries similar features to Facebook s developer features, allowing users to login to other apps with Snapchat.

The company is constantly redesigning its app and features in order to get the right fit with its users. While Bounce does seem like a great addition, we re not sure if it s an approach the company s taking out of pure desperation.
