The tweet indicates that the company may unveil everything from the new smartwatch, to accessories, to smart TVs, to announcements surrounding the PlayStation series as well.

But the biggest announcement could be the Xperia Z5, as the predecessor Xperia Z4 was also announced last year at IFA as well. Rumors suggest that the Xperia Z5 is expected to flaunt a 5.5-inch display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset. On the camera front, it will sport a 21-megapixel sensor, which will be accompanied by a 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Meanwhile, Sony today also announced the Xperia M5 and C5 Ultra smartphones. Both the smartphones are expected to be priced in the mid-range segment and the company will make it available in select countries from mid-August.
