German website bestboyz.de is reporting that Sony Mobile has sent out invites for an event on June 25, which says ‘Looking for More” once translated from German. The event will take place at 15:00 German time. Now the interesting bit is that there have been rumors about two Sony smartphones, the Honami and Togari and Sony could possibly launching them both at the event.
Leaks have suggested that the Honami will be Sony’s first CyberShot branded Android smartphone, and it will feature an 1/1.6-inch Exmor RS sensor coupled with a CyberShot G lens and Xenon or dual-LED flash. Other features of the phone are believed to be a 5-inch Triluminos display with a 1080p resolution, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz along with the Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM and either an 2,700 or 3,000 mAh battery.
The Togari is expected to be a 6.4-inch phablet that will have a design similar to the Xperia Z smartphone. It is expected to compete with the next generation of the Samsung Galaxy Note phablet.
Currently, nothing has been announced but the invite says that more details will follow.
