Since its launch in the US last month, Sony s gaming console has been creating quite a buzz on the Internet. The console couldn t have asked for a better start, with the company selling a million units on day one and two million in under two weeks. Microsoft s Xbox One too is doing well, but not quite on the same level as the PS4.
Sony is well on its way to achieving its target of selling 3 million PS4 consoles by the end of the year and 5 million by the end of the fiscal year. Analysts have also predicted that in the next five years Sony is likely to sell 49 million consoles, while Microsoft s Xbox One is likely to only reach 38 million. Sony s console is also dominating the social media, with a report claiming that it is generating as much as 40 percent more online buzz than its rival Xbox One and the comments are three times as positive, a new report revealed.
