With mounting expectations for the upcoming God of War game, Sony is trying to capitalize on this opportunity by releasing a limited edition God of War PS4 Pro Bundle.
True to its name the limited edition God of War PS4 Pro Bundle features a 1 terabyte variant of the new PlayStation 4 Pro which has been given a makeover to look like a part of the new God of War game.
The PS4 Pro skin takes after the design of Kratos’ Leviathan Axe in the game with muted grey tones and designs in gold and black. The bundle consists of two dual-shock controllers that have skin matching the PS4 Pro body. The bundle come boxed with a copy of the God of War Day One Edition Blu-ray disc.
The Limited Edition God of War PS4 Pro Bundle is already on pre-order on select retailers worldwide. It will be launched internationally on April 20, which follows three days after the launch of the God of War game on April 17. The Limited Edition God of War PS4 Pro Bundle is priced at $399.99 (which translates to Rs 25,986) in the US.
There are no mentions about India pricing and release on the PlayStation blog but the price can be expected to be around Rs 41,990 which is the price of the standard PS4 Pro bundle.
The pricing follows the international trend where the European and India pricing is much more due to taxes and regulations.
On the performance bit, here’s what Sony has to say in the blog:
“When played on PS4 Pro with a 4K TV, God of War outputs in a dynamic 4K resolution achieved through a 2160p checkerboard. Players with 1080p HDTVs will also benefit from increased image clarity via supersampling of a higher resolution onto their display, thanks to the game’s built-in supersampling technique. Across all PS4s, God of War also features HDR lighting and a wide color gamut for those with TVs that support HDR.”
There is no mention of how much FPS the game would be running on, but a standard 30 fps could be expected.
