This could be a hint that the forthcoming Xperia smartphones too will feature the hybrid autofocus feature, first introduced on the Xperia M5. Sony s Hybrid AF combines the best of the traditional contrast-based autofocus, and Phase Detection, to quickly focus on a particular subject.

Just a few days ago, the Xperia Z5 was leaked in all its glory in hands-on photos. As far as rumored specifications go, the Xperia Z5 could sport a 5.5-inch display. Under the hood, it could be powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. On the camera front, it will sport a 21-megapixel sensor, which will be accompanied by an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Another interesting addition is that the Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact are rumored to come with fingerprint sensors located in the power button. For the first time the fingerprint sensors will be located on the right side of these smartphones, as the power button is located on the right.
