In terms of specifications, the Sony Xperia A features a 5-inch full HD display offering 1080p resolution, a 13-megapixel primary camera, 16GB of storage and a removable, 2,300mAh battery. The phone will run the latest Android version, and is expected to feature LTE network support. There is no information on the processor and other features known so far, but considering that it has been registered for approval at FCC under the NTT DoCoMo network, there is a possibility that the phone gets unveiled at DoCoMo s product launch on May 15.
Sony has earlier been reported to work on Honami and Togari, with the latter being rumored as a 6.44-inch device. The Honami on the other hand is expected to fall in the 5-inch display category and feature a rather powerful camera. The Sony Xperia A could be a country specific variant of the Honami.
