Last month, Sony launched the Xperia E4 Dual in India, priced at Rs 12,490. Today, the Japanese company has quietly launched the LTE variant of the smartphone. The Xperia E4g Dual is listed on Sony’s India website, priced at Rs 13,290.
The Xperia E4 Dual, and the Xperia E4g Dual were both first unveiled at Sony’s event at MWC earlier this year. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Xperia E4g Dual flaunts a 4.7-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6732 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.
The smartphone also features 8GB internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card, 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel selfie camera, and a 2,300mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for up 13 hours of talktime and up to 779 hours on standby mode.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, aGPS, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
In comparison, the Sony Xperia E4 Dual features a 5-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) display, 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor, Mali-400 MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It also features a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
