Sony Xperia XA1 specifications, features
The Sony Xperia XA1 flaunts a 5-inch HD (720p) display with image enhance technology and Corning Gorilla glass protection. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio P20 64-bit octa-core SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB internal storage, of which about 22GB will be available to users. The memory however can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.
The smartphone also features a 2,300mAh battery with Quick Charging support, and Sony’s STAMINA mode for extended battery life. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C port. On the software front, the Xperia XA1 runs on Android Nougat out-of-the-box.
Though Sony is touting the Xperia XA1 s photographic chops, the rest of the specifications seem to be a bit underwhelming. For Rs 19,990, the smartphone misses out on a fingerprint sensor, and comes with a HD 720p display, and a rather small 2,300mAh battery.
Buyers can instead choose from smartphones like the Lenovo Z2 Plus, Moto G5 Plus, and the ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini S to name a few. These smartphones are not only more affordable, but also offer more bang for buck compared to Sony s new smartphone.
