The 19-megapixel rear camera has a feature called Motion Eye that captures short bursts of footage at 960fps during a regular recording. Those 960fps moments would play back as slow-motion across six-seconds at 30fps. It also comes with RGBC infrared sensor for adjusting white balance and an updated ExmorRS image sensor. The smartphone is armed with a 3,230mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging, which the company claims to take the battery from 0-60 percent in just 45 minutes. The Xperia XZ comes with connectivity options such as Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C and 4G LTE with VoLTE voice calling support, the smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
