Sony is expected to take the wraps of the Xperia XZ3 at IFA 2018, which is currently being held in Berlin, Germany. Leading up to the launch, we’ve already come across a number of leaks that have given us plenty of insight on the smartphone’s features and specifications. Not just that, renders of the smartphone were also leaked recently giving us an idea of its design. Now, MySmartPrice has come across yet another image, which reveals all the color options the smartphone will be available in.
According to the image posted by the website, it looks like the Sony XZ3 will be available in total of four colors, which includes Black, White, Burgundy, and Green. While the former two are pretty standard, the Burgundy and Green colors seem fancy enough to help the Xperia XZ3 stand out. However, there is possibility that the company might not launch all the colors in all the markets. In fact, the latter two might just be featured as limited edition variants.
Besides the colors, the new leak also reiterates some of the points revealed by previous images. From the looks of it, the Xperia XZ3 looks pretty identical to the Xperia XZ2 Premium. It will likely be sporting a combination of glass and metal at the front and back. There is no notch at the top, but a thick chin can be seen at the bottom. The image also confirms the smartphone to come with a single-rear camera, which is accompanied by a fingerprint sensor right below it.
Sony Xperia XZ3 features and specifications
In terms of hardware, the Xperia XZ3 has been touted by previous rumors to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The smartphone is also said to be boasting a 5.5-inch IPS full HD + display, which will feature a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. On the battery front, the smartphone is expected to pack in a 3,240mAh battery underneath its hood.
The resolution of the single rear camera hasn’t been revealed yet, but it is said to come with some high-end features including, predictive PDAF and laser autofocus technology. Hopefully, this will put it at par with dual cameras. Upfront though, the smartphone has been suggested to come with a 13-megapixel camera for taking selfies.

In July, the Xperia XZ3 was also spotted on a British online retailer’s website along with its possible pricing. The pre-order page for the smartphone had listed the device at a starting price of €849 (approximately Rs 70,300). If true, the device will clearly fall under the premium category, competing with the likes Apple iPhones, Google Pixel 2, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. However, we’ll just have to wait for an official announcement, which hopefully shouldn’t be that far away.
