The Sony Xperia XZs can capture slow-mo videos at 960fps, and runs on Android Nougat.

Sony is all geared up to launch its latest smartphone Xperia XZs in India today. Xperia XZs was first unveiled at MWC 2017 in Barcelona, alongside other Sony Xperia smartphones like the Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra. Sony Xperia XZs gets minor upgrade over its predecessor Xperia XZ, which launched in September last year. The smartphone s photographic chops are its most talked-about points. At the back is a 19-megapixel Exmor RS sensor, which is capable of recording super slow-mo videos at 960fps. The camera features a new Motion Eye technology, and also comes with a Predictive Capture mode that keeps four images cached for users to later choose their perfectly timed shots. The camera is quite capable under low lighting conditions, and a fast anti-distortion shutter on Xperia XZs allows users to even click fast moving objects with minimized distortion. For selfie lovers, there s a 13-megapixel snapper up front.
