Sony launched the Xperia Z4 outside Japan last month, but considering the minor updates, called it the Xperia Z3+. As far as specifications are concerned, the Xperia Z3+ flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Triluminos display powered by X-Reality engine. Under the hood is Qualcomm s Snapdragon 810 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Also on offer is 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. In the photography department, the smartphone features a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor and 4K video recording capabilities, while up front is a 5.1-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera with Exmor R sensor.
The smartphone also features Sony DSEE HX audio technology, FM Radio, IPX5 / IPX8 rating for dust and water resistance, and connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
There is also a 2,930mAh battery inside, which the company claims is good enough for up to 17 hours of talktime and up to 590 hours on standby mode. Sony is also bundling a super quick charger with the smartphone, which can charge the phone for up to 5.5 hours of battery life in just 10 minutes.
