While Sony took the wraps off the Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia Z4 Tablet at MWC, the Xperia Z4 gave the event a skip. The flagship however is very much in existence, and a new set of leaks show off a much sleeker body.French website NoWhereElse has leaked a set of photos that show a much sleeker metal frame. To put the thinness into perspective, the frame is compared to last year’s Xperia Z3 as well. While the smartphone will continue with Sony’s Omnibalance design language there are small differences. For one, the smartphone is expected to feature open ports as opposed to the ones on the Xperia Z3, which are covered with a flap. Another missing bit is the docking station which was present at the side of the Xperia Z3.
Other than the aforementioned changes, not a lot is visible in the leaked photos. We would however ask you to take these photos with a proverbial pinch of salt.
From what we have heard so far, the Xperia Z4 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S810 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 21-megapixel rear camera.
