Dubbed as Xperia Z5 Dual, the smartphone comes with the same features as the single-SIM variant, and is priced at Rs 52,900. One of the talking points of the Xperia Z5 Dual is its unibody design with frosted glass finish at the back. Sony has also added a fingerprint sensor for added security, which is integrated into the power button on right frame. Sony Xperia Z5 Dual price: Being a high-end smartphone, the Xperia Z5 Dual is priced at Rs 52,900 and will be available starting October 23. As an introductory offer, Sony has pre-installed the Modern Combat 5 game and also offering three months of subscription for Sony Music, Sony LIV, Hungama Play and free e-books worth Rs 1,000 on Amazon s Kindle app.
Also, customers who buy the smartphone using their HDFC Credit card will be eligible to get a cash back of up to Rs 5. There are also some easy EMIs offers from Bajaj Finance, which customers can easily avail.
Sony Xperia Z5 Dual specifications and features: It sports a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) Triluminos display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm s 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for further expansion.
For shutterbugs, the Xperia Z5 Dual is equipped with a 23-megapixel rear camera with hybrid auto-focus (0.03 seconds) and an LED flash. The new camera module also supports 4K video recording capabilities. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera for selfies and video calling.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. It is equipped with a 2,930mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 2.0 feature for fast charging. Sony claims that the battery is decent enough to offer battery life of two days on Stamina Mode. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and is due to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in the coming months.
