Barely a week since its launch, Pok mon Go has got the entire world obsessing over it. Gamers are going crazy to catch as many Pok mon characters as they can. Even with its limited release, the game has got a lot of people hooked on to it. Soon after the release, John Hanke, CEO of game developer Niantic had dropped hints that the game could make its way to other AR devices such as Google Glass, HoloLens and more. Now, it looks like the developers are also working on a Google Cardboard version of Pok mon Go. An eagle-eyed user tried to dig deep into the game s settings menu and look for licenses. Google Cardboard is on the top of the list of licensed software used by Niantic for developing Pok mon Go. This is enough of a hint about the company s future plans of introducing the virtual reality version of the game too. Besides the safety issues, it is also worth pointing out that the game needs a constant camera feed. And while not all cardboard VR goggles available today have a camera cutout, Niantic may also be planning to come up with its proprietary accessory, just like the Pok mon Go Plus bracelet.
