Spice today announced the successor to its Stellar Pinnacle phablet, the Stellar Pinnacle Pro. The biggest update in the successor is it now runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and features the latest Android Jelly Bean 4.2. The Stellar Pinnacle had a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and ran on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and users had to visit a service center to get it updated to Android Jelly Bean. The Stellar Pinnacle Pro also features a 5.3-inch qHD display like its predecessor, which we believe is too low a resolution for that display size, considering its competitors like the Micromax Canvas HD sport a 720p display. It also comes with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot that can accommodate cards up to 32GB. It also has added features like USB OTG, Pop-up play, Flip to Mute, Intelligent Answer, Direct Call, Gesture Screen Lock, Boot Acceleration and Power Saving Mode.
