Now, Facebook has joined the Star Wars hype as it allows users to add a lightsaber photo filter in their profile pictures. A new app on Star Wars official Facebook page lets you add Kylo Ren s red lightsaber to your profile picture if you want to represent the dark side, or you can add Luke Skywalker s classic blue lightsaber to represent the light side. To change your picture, login to Facebook and head over to Star Wars official page or click on Try it button on the Facebook post embedded below. Upon clicking the Try it button, your profile picture with a lightsaber will appear. Here, you can zoom in and out, and pan the image based on your needs. There are two icons on the top right, that lets you switch between the dark side red lightsaber and light side with the blue lightsaber.
A couple of weeks ago, Google gave its Search a Star Wars makeover, wherein the search results appeared in movie style opening credits. Choose between the light and dark sides transformed the look Google such as the background on Gmail, Google Maps home and office location and also the progress bar and volume slider on YouTube. Google had also added an Easter egg to Translate Aurebesh, the ancient Star Wars language.
