The Arland airport in Stockholm has installed three rooms, called The Climate Portal, which essentially simulate the weather at your destination. With a combination of air conditioners, fans, heaters and misters, these rooms replicate the weather conditions at particular destination. So if you are going the Middle East, the heaters will kick in to let you experience the kind of heat you are about to experience. While it may be a publicity stunt, it is a clever use of technology to help travelers flying to a new place. In case after being in the room they feel they haven’t packed well, there are always the duty-free shops to help out before you board the plane.
