With the ongoing data war between telecom operators, Tata Docomo doesn’t want to be left behind. The telco has been aggressive with its plans to better compete with other operators, and now Tata Docomo has launched a new plan priced at Rs 98. It comes with a validity of 28 days, and offers a total of 39.2GB 3G data.
The plan offers 1.4GB daily data, and once the limit is hit, users will be charged 10 paise/MB for additional usage. The data roaming facility is applicable on Tata’s own network, and when latched on to other networks, users will be charged as per the base tariff plan. Another thing to note here is that this is only a data plan, and benefits such as voice calling and SMS aren’t included.
Tata Docomo will closely compete with BSNL’s Rs 99 plan, which comes with 26 days validity and offers 1.5GB daily data. And just like Docomo, BSNL is also not offering any voice or SMS benefits. Airtel, on the other hand, has a plan priced at Rs 99 which offers unlimited voice calls, 2GB data, 100SMS, and a validity of 28 days.
