Communications and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will on Thursday inaugurate a two-day conference on business, technology and leadership, Infocom, here that will focus on the stated theme of “Connected World”.
Hosted by the ABP Group, the two-day event will also have special forums on leadership, strategy, digital India, as also on the small and medium enterprises, said its organisers, the ABP Group, adding that 600 delegates 50 Speakers were expected to attend. Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is also a key speaker. Others include Amitabh Ray of Ericsson Global, Purnendu Chatterjee of The Chatterjee Group, Sports Icon Anil Kumble, Mohit Pande of Google India and Sangita Singh of Wipro Healthcare.
A special awards ceremony will honour a woman of the y, besides leadership in 10 categories — corporate, philanthropy, digital business, innovation, rural development, social causes, youth, inspirational woman, inclusion and education. The winners will be felicitated by former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit. The event will bring together ICT professionals, buyers-sellers, corporate leaders, academics, and policymakers. Besides the maiden Delhi event, Infocom — now in in its 14 edition — will also have a similar programme in Kolkata in December, the organisers said.
