Elon Musk’s Tesla has been known for making premium electric sedans and SUVs. The company is also into space exploration with its SpaceX projects, and a handful of other projects such as the Hyperloop public transportation, and more. Now, it seems like the company has set its eyes on the smartphone space.
SlashLeaks has shared a couple of photos that show off the front and rear panel of an alleged Tesla smartphone. The smartphone is codenamed “Quadra” and the leaks reveal some key details on what we could expect. In the first photo, we can see the front and rear panel of the smartphone.
Watch: Asus Zenfone 5Z First Look
It appears like the smartphone will come with extremely thin bezels on the sides and the bottom. At the top, we can see the infamous display notch, housing the earpiece, proximity and ambient light sensors, and a front camera. Unlike other smartphones, the bottom chin looks very thin, and so does the notch on the top, which could mean that smartphone could feature a higher screen-to-body ratio.
At the back, you can see a cutout for dual cameras on the top left, followed by Tesla logo, and probably G4 branding. Along the bottom half, you can also see a strip of cut out, which will likely be for the speaker grill. Besides these, no other details are available at the moment. However, considering it’s coming from Tesla, with due attention from Elon Musk, we can expect it to be a flagship model.
There is no word on the processor, RAM, storage, camera and other details. But, if at all there is some life in this leak, we expect more leaks to pour over the course of time.
