One will be able to simply answer calls by flipping open the antenna grille and it also comes with a wireless charging port of its own. The company has built the Communicator using structured-light 3D scanning to get the look absolutely right.
While the Communicator looks like a bulky Motorola flip phone from the past, it will hardly matter for Star Trek fans. The Wand Company plans to unveil the device at Comic-Con later this week in San Diego, and it will go on sale in January next year. Pre-orders for the Communicator have kicked off on Star Trek shop with a price tag of $149.95 or Rs 9,500 approximately.
