Samsung unveiled the highly anticipated Galaxy S3 smartphone in London last evening. Besides the unveil itself, the company announced that the device will hit Europe on May 29 along with a ten city global world tour which also includes New Delhi. While there is no official confirmation on the release one can expect the device to hit Indian shores by the first week of June itself. Even the last Galaxy S model was released in the June of 2011. Furthermore, the idea behind holding the launch event so late was to enable Samsung to ship the device shortly after the launch. As far as pricing is concerned, there is no official word on the price tag, but considering it is Samsung’s flagship device, one can easily expect the device to be price above the Galaxy Note. Keeping the feature set in mind, the device should be priced some where near its direct competitor, the HTC One X, as both devices feature very similar tech specs.
