Apple is expected to launch its new iPad Pros this month and though the official invite is not here yet, the launch could be held as soon as next week. But that does not mean we don’t have any idea about the new iPad Pros that Apple is getting ready to launch. As always we have seen quite a few leaks coming out which give us a fair idea about what the new device could look like, what features it will come with and how it is expected to stand out.
One of the biggest things that we have come to know, thanks to a Twitter user named CoinCoin who has built a reputation with some highly accurate iPhone leaks, is that the new iPads will in probability not feature any headphone socket. Some may be surprised by this because surely a device as large an iPad should be able to find space to include a tiny 3.5mm socket. But I think the next leak will reason why Apple didn’t include it.
In another tweet CoinCoin has revealed that the new iPads will be the thinnest yet and will only be 5.9mm at its thickest point. You can check out the tweet below.
Of course no headphone jack on the upcoming new iPad. 5.9mm thickness is pretty good though.

Apple will also reportedly drop the home button with Touch ID fingerprint scanner, and add support for Face ID, both on the iPad Pro 10.5-inch and iPad Pro 12.9-inch models.

As Apple is expected to retain the size of the iPad Pro while stretching the screen closer to the edges, the base model could have an 11-inch panel rather than 10.5-inch. Similarly, the bigger one could stretch between 14-15-inch. A Smart Connector is also expected at the back to use the keyboard along with it.
