If you thought making money and videos was only the business of grown ups, you’re wrong. Turns out it’s actually child’s play, because among others this one particular kid made over $22 million in a year, just by making YouTube videos.
Ryan who is 7-years-old is the star of his YouTube channel “Ryan ToysReview”. As the name suggests, it is a channel to review toys. And according to the Forbes list of the YouTube stars who are making the most money, Ryan’s channel just jumped to number one from eighth.
According to Forbes, “Ryan ToysReview” earned about $22 million in terms of pre-tax income between the time period of June 1, 2017 and June 1, 2018. The channel is run by Ryan’s parents, and it out earned Jake Paul by a slight margin as he earned about $21.5 million during this time period.
The channel was started back in the year 2015 and the most prolific video that threw Ryan into stardom was one of Ryan reviewing over 100 toys in from the Pixar movie Cars. This video has garnered 935 million views, and the channel has a combined 26 billion views, according to Forbes.
The videos usually are about toys and children’s’ meals which Ryan narrates on his own, while his parents help him with cues and help him along. Ryan even has an agreement with Walmart for a special toy line called “Ryan’s World”, which is sold exclusively in over 2,500 stores across the US.

Ryan’s parents made this account because Ryan liked watching toy reviews online and wondered if he could make such videos.
