We are seeing concept videos and images of the upcoming iPhone 6s giving us a sneak peak into the Force Touch display and other features. But these latest concept images of the current iPhone 6 are so crazy, that even though they can never be true, they are worth a look. The images are designed by industrial designer Martin Hajek, who has come up with the concept of the Flip iPhone. He claims that users in Japan are still crazy about the flip phones, and he would love to see an iPhone with a flip cover. He went ahead and even designed the flip iPhone for the world to see, and the smartphone looks slick as hell. Also Read - Apple warns users to remove webcam cover from their MacBook laptops
“In Japan these huge flip phones are called garakei and they are still very popular, despite the iPhone also gaining market share in the land of the rising sun. What if Apple ever decided to make an iPhone especially for the Japanese market?” Hajek wrote on his blog.
He has managed to design a smaller version of an iPhone 6 with a flip cover. The smartphone has two full size screens on it, both touchscreens. The flip when shut, has a small squarish notification panel as well.
While we know that Apple would never do something this crazy, this work of fiction is worth acknowledging. Alas, not all dreams come true!
