There s not a lot of time left for OnePlus to take the wraps off its next flagship. With mere hours to go before the launch, the OnePlus 2 has been leaked in all its glory.
The OnePlus 2 was spotted on XDA Developer s forums and the photos show the forthcoming flagship from all possible angles. The level of details captured in the photos almost seem like they were a part of a professional shoot.
From what we can see, the front of the smartphone features a screen with very narrow bezels and the promised fingerprint scanner underneath. At the back is a removable panel, the camera (rumored to be 13-megapixels), LED flash, laser autofocus, and the OnePlus logo. A metal frame surrounds the handset and also visible are the dual-SIM card slots, speaker grilles and the USB Type-C port.
OnePlus has already revealed quite a bit about the forthcoming flagship. The OnePlus 2 will feature an improved version of the Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, 3,300mAh battery, and faster LTE connectivity. As for pricing, OnePlus has said that the flagship will cost between $320 and $450.
To recap, OnePlus is hosting a virtual reality launch event that kicks off at 7:30AM IST tomorrow. For the event, it sold a branded Cardboard VR headset on Amazon India, and over the weekend launched the Android app as well. For those who missed out though, the company says that you don t necessarily need a VR headset to follow the launch event, but without it you will miss out on the entire experience. The invites required to buy the flagship have already gone live, and there are already a large number of buyers in queue.
Some more photos of the OnePlus 2 follow.
