Tinder wants to help women give it back to douchebags. The most popular dating app (hooking up) obviously attracts people who can be bothersome in many ways. The women at Tinder want to make things easier with a new feature called ‘Tinder Reactions’ in partnership with actress/comedian Whitney Cummings. You now have a special reaction to the different types of douchebags you come across on Tinder.

Tinder calls this “The Menprovement Initiative”, and some of the reactions have Whitney Cummings’ voiceover. There are a total of eight reactions on Tinder now, out of which four are exclusively for women. If there’s any guy annoying you or portraying ‘douchebag’ behavior, you can respond with Tinder Reactions like ugh, eye rolls, NOPE, and really??

And for those who might offend you, there’s a martini splashing reaction that does the job quite well. These reactions are quite expressive, and will help emote more feelings than emojis do.

Keeping the douchebags aside, there are Tinder Reactions for lovebirds as well. You have the heart reaction which bursts into tiny little hearts all over your chat screen. You can also react with laughs or claps according to how your conversation is going. And then there’s the ‘ball’s in your court’ reaction for taking things a little further. Tinder Reactions is currently available for users on iOS and Android in India. You need to update the app to its latest version to use the feature. Tinder Reactions will be visible through an icon, which will be located on the left side of the GIF box. Tapping on the icon will show you the list of Reactions to choose from. However, Tinder says that not all Reactions will be available as it will vary according to different markets. More Reactions are being tested currently, and will be rolled out very soon.
