Earlier today, a TransAsia plane carrying 58 passengers crashed into a river in Taipei. As per reports, nearly eight passengers are believed to have died, and several are injured. The car travelling on the bridge was very close to the crash, and the entire scene looks something out of a Hollywood action movie. The video embedded below shows the plane emerging from behind the buildings, dangerously banking, and hitting the bridge before crashing into the river. According to reports, the ATR-72 had just taken off from the Taipei Songshan Airport, and was headed to Kinmen islands, just off the coast of south-east China. As mentioned above, 58 passengers were onboard, and rescue efforts are still ongoing as many of them are still stuck in the plane.
